The reservation process with us is easy, and we are always available to answer any questions you may have along the way. 

• Pick a program you would like to take.  You may choose from the following:

• Spanish and Photography
• Spanish and Yoga
• Spanish only
• Surfing and Photography
• Surfing and Yoga
• Surf intensive
• Photography and Yoga
• Spanish, Surfing, and Yoga
• Spanish, Photography, and Yoga

• We also have various Workshops available throughout the year:
• Surf Training
• Stand Up Paddle
• Salsa Dancing
• Specialty Photography
• Specialty Yoga
• Pick the dates that work best for you from our Schedules page. We try and start programs on Monday and end on Friday for the one, two, three, and four week programs (check-in on Sunday and check-out on Saturday).   If you are unable to attend on the recommended starting dates, please Email Us with your request.
• Choose the type of Lodging you prefer.
• Fill out an online Application.  We will verify via email that we have space available for the time period and classes you requested.
• Book your flight.  You will need to fly into San Jose, Costa Rica (airport code SJO). You may choose to do this after you pay your deposit.
• Pay your Deposit.  A $200 (U.S.) deposit is needed to secure any space.  The deposit amount is deducted from the total cost and the remaining balance is due before you begin your first class.
• Someone from our office will be in touch with you within 48 hours to confirm your reservation, send more information on how to prepare for your trip, and help with any questions or special arrangements you may have (we respond promptly, so if you don't hear from us within 48 hours it means we did not receive your message - please Contact Us again).
• If you will be taking Spanish classes please complete to the best of your abilities and submit a Spanish Placement Test.
• Once you book your flight, you can schedule an Airport Pickup if needed or you can check our Directions page for options for transportation from the airport in San Jose to the School of the World.
